those sweet memories.
back from orientation and level camp!was really the most tiring first week of school ever.but it was also the best week i guess.monday:reported to school at 6.30,and was dismissed at 6pm!!i took class 1/2,and they were really shy and quiet.they wouldnt speak or cheer,and when we were trying to hold a discussion for the grand finale,they were not enthusiastic at all,and very few gave ideas.so yeah it was quite tough.tuesday:reported at 6.45,the class was more responsive,and they were making friends and talking to each other :)we helped them prepare for their grand finale item,and everyone contributed!dismissed at 6pm.wednesday:had some bonding time with 1/2.took a group of them and talked to them about random stuff.told them about the water pipe burst incident.haahahathen we got them to rehearse their grand finale item,and they were so willing to cheer :)their performance went well,everyone was really enthusiastic!then we had to leave for the level camp.felt really accomplised that we were able to get to know the class better,and to also help them settle into the schooland help them to open up and make friends with each other!so anyway,had lunch and then went to the learning lab for the camp.i guess the first day was really boring for me,cause we spent the whole day sitting on a chair,and listening to our trainer.i missed Leroy's session, so had some other trainer.sat through the whole thing and got dismissed at 9pm.went home and packed for the stay over.thursday:Leroy came to train us for the parents session!hahahah he's really the best of the three trainers i had.super entertaining and funny.i really love the parents session,where he talked about our parents' love for us.ended up tearing because i was really grateful for having such awesome parents.he got us to write our parents a letter,telling them what we're sorry for,what we thank them for and what we promise them.after the whole thing ended,went to 3/3 classroom and dumped our stuff.then went to wash up, and rolled out our sleeping bags. played indian poker with some friends for a while =Xhahahaha, was really fun!then we had free cornetto ice cream! :)slept at 11 that night.woke up around 12,and looked around.everyone was sleeping but i saw two people sitting at the corner,and they were waving to me.seriously freaked me out!hahahah, but found out it was Yanka and Faith.friday:woke up at 5.45 with a sore throat.washed up and packed our stuff.then had duty at 7.had breakfast after assembly,and then went back to the learning lab.Leroy took us for the whole day this time!learnt alot and am really feeling motivated to study now :)at 7pm we went up to the hall.lots of parents were in the hall,cause they were invited to come and find out what we learned over the last 3 days.my parents didnt come,cause they're overseas in Korea :(anyway,Adam Khoo came and gave a talk about what was being taught to us.then it was time for us to go on stage to thank our parents,but of course it was if we wanted to.many went up, and cried,and when i saw them cry, i teared.loli would have gone up, if my parents came :(so anyway,sang if we hold on together and then we were dismissed!walked to the bus stop with Gill. when i got home, i found out that i had fever!38.6! and a terrible headache, runny nose and a cough.feeling terrible now but hope it will get better ASAP!
